Obituary for Helen (Charney) Wegrzynek Helen (Charney) Wegrzynek, age 87, of North Versailles passed away Friday, January 11, 2019. She was born July 20, 1931 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Michael and Ann Charney. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wilmerding.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 54 years Stanley Wegrzynek; brothers Michael and Andrew Charney; and sister Ann Grabowski. She is survived by her children Jane (Wayne) Tobac of Scott Twp. and Daniel Wegrzynek of Pitcairn; grandchildren Michael (Elise) Tobac of Scott Twp.

, Evan (Rachel) Tobac of Freemont, California, and Jeremy (Fiancé Melissa) Tobac of Cary, North Carolina; and brother John Charney. Friends and Family will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wilmerding.
