Helen Christine Hagan, 90 HARTFORD CITY – Helen Christine Hagan, 90, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Bridgewater Rehabilitation Centre. She was born in Glasgow, KY on September 5, 1928 to Virgil Morgan and Lucille Morgan. Helen married Carlie U. Hagan on March 16, 1946 in Glasgow, KY.

She enjoyed gardening and her kindness and love that she showered on everyone earned her just one name from her children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren and it was “Momma”. Even the neighbors called her “Momma Helen”. Helen will be sadly missed by her daughter, Carolyn S. (husband, Charles E.) Pauley of Hartford City; grandchildren, Angela Stoffer, Wanda Pauley and Samantha Thomas; great-grandchildren, Adam Pauley, Sophia Crawford, Ashley Pauley, Ryan Richards and Dylan Richards; great-great-grandchildren, Oscar, Arlo, Jackson, Carson, Noah, Allyson and Charlie; sisters, Loretta (husband, Robert) Jenkins of Hartford City and Earlene Speidel of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Wainwright, granddaughter, Jody Hagan, great-grandson, Preston Hagan, brothers, Roger Morgan, Donald Morgan, Jr. Morgan, Richard Morgan and sister, Mae Lyons. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City with Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating.

Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at Keplinger Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Eaton. Memorials may be made to Blackford County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 70, Hartford City, IN 47348 Online condolences may be sent to www.
