Obituary for Helen Clifton Bradford Helen Clifton Bradford was born on February 28, 1924 and left this world on July 6, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and L.L. Clifton, her brother Bill Clifton, and two granddaughters, Erica and Terri Beacom. Helen is survived by her daughter, Peggy Beacom, her son and daughter in law, Jim and Donna O’Neal, 7 grandchildren, Renee Claiborn, Kevin Beacom, Kim Hertach, Heather O’Neal, Creighton O’Neal, Colt O’Neal, Jon O’Neal and chosen grandson Trey Smith, 14 Great Grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Helen joined the Navy nursing corp during WWII. She was very proud to serve her country. Later, Helen became a teacher and taught High School and Middle School Science for many years.

After retirement she moved to the country and enjoyed watching the horses play and spending time on her patio. She fell in love with the mountains in Colorado after spending many summers there with her parents as a child. She always wanted to live in Colorado in the Rocky Mountains but never made that change so her ashes will be scattered in the mountains at her request.
