Obituary for Mrs. Helen E. Jackson Helen E. Jackson was born in Denison, Texas on October 4, 1924 to Edna and Brady Gormany. She was a former elementary school teacher for many years at the Mt. Pleasant Catholic School.

Helen loved line dancing, listening to R&B music, watching Cleveland sports teams, watching current events on MSNBC,and going to the casino. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, a former member of the Cleveland Medical Wives and a longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church. Helen was a devoted wife of the late Dr. Kenneth W. Jackson, a beloved mother of Janice K. Sherrill and Kenneth M. Jackson, a cherished grandmother of Toya D. Sherrill, Jana M. Sherrill, Stephanie A. Jackson and Phillip M. Jackson, and great grandmother of five.
