Obituary for Helen E. (Shray) Knor Helen E. (Shray) Knor, 92, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday November 25, 2018. She was born June 28, 1926 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Frank and Viola (Bowman) Shray and was also preceded in death by her husband John Knor and her brothers Frank, Robert, and Edward Shray. She was a graduate of Jeannette High School class of 1944 where she served as president of the Home Economics Club, a previous employee of Jeannette Glass, K-Mart Foods, and most recent Action Home Center, Norwin Towne Square.

Helen enjoyed living life on her own terms. She is survived by her children John (Emily) Knor of North Huntingdon, and Eric Knor; also nieces and nephews including Harold (Jennifer) Shray and Nancy (Mickey) Stevens both of Arkansas. Friends will be received from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the William Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. with Chaplan Don Hezlep officiating.

Interment is private in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Jeannette. In lieu of flowers those wishing may contribute to Golden Heights Activity Fund, 1015 Pennsylvania Ave. , Irwin, PA 15642.
