Christ is Risen! Christos Anesti! Helen Jouras, lifelong St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church member and Philoptchos member, fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019.

Helen was a secretary for Phillips Petroleum before becoming a full time homemaker to take care of her family. She also took great pride in working as a secretary for many years at her son’s law office. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter A. Jouras, Sr., and her sisters, Despina and Penelope Kouloukis and brother, George Kouloukis.

She is survived by her son, Peter and his wife, Mary and their children, Eleni, Elias and Gabriel. She was very loved and will be greatly missed. May her memory be eternal.

Visitation will be 9-10AM, Monday, May 20, and funeral services will be 10AM, Monday, May 20, both at St. Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church, 8100 W. 95th St., Overland Park, KS 66212. Graveside services will immediately follow the funeral services at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS. A makaria luncheon will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Dionysios Memorial Fund.
