May 26th, 1937 – March 16th, 2019 Mrs. Helen Lemmings age 81 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, March 16th, 2019, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Lemmings will be conducted on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home – Dyer Chapel with Rev. Tony Crossnoe officiating.

Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Dyer, TN. She was born May 26th, 1937 in Dyer, Tennessee; the daughter of Edgar and Mary Smith Gordon. She was a retail associate at Walmart for 20 years.

She is survived by one sister, Jane Crossnoe; two grandchildren, Shaun Brockett (Deirdre), and Terri Overturf . She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed Lemmings; and siblings, Billy Gordon, Faye Dunahoo, and Ray Gordon. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until time of service on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019, at Karnes & Son Funeral Home – Dyer Chapel.
