Helen M. Lewis, 93, of Waynesboro went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in Fishersville. She was born on November 13, 1925 in Augusta County, Virginia to the late William and Lula McCarthy. Helen was a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church where she served as a Communion Steward.

Thank you for all the love you gave to family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin A. Lewis and other loving family members. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Jones; granddaughter, Jennifer Steppe; great grandchildren, Mailynn and Christopher; sister, Jean Fuller and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22929. A private graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery.
