It is with great sadness that Helen Marie Hess, 75, of Putnam Valley, passed Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Helen was born September 22, 1943. She graduated in 1961 from White Plains High School.

Helen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Edward G. Hess Jr, 5 children, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, best friend and many dear friends. Helen was preceded by her mother and brother. Helen had a passion for dancing, walking and finding good shopping deals.

She liked to stay active and was very social, spending time with family and friends. Helen was a huge animal lover. She had a big passion for baking and decorating cakes and helping out the church.

Helen always had a smile on her face and a joke on her lips. All who knew Helen loved and adored her. Helen was a fighter and never gave up, she was a strong women.

Her caring and concern for others will continue as she chose to donate her body to medical research as she said “I want to help others to help find a cure”. She will be missed greatly but never forgotten. You will always and forever be in our hearts.
