Helen Marie Barnes Miller, age 73 of Elkton, passed away on Thursday, February 7th from a vehicle accident. She was born March 11, 1945 in Carbondale, Illinois the daughter of the late Charles A. and Milford Lucille Sharp Walker. She was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church.

She loved her family, church & church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband Hugh Russell Miller; a son Jerry L. Barnes; two grandsons Gerald Wayne Case and Matthew Douglas Dossett; six brothers Paul, Ronnie, David, Charles Alvin, Robert and Steven Walker and five sisters Grace Johns, Mary Riley, Bonnie Middleton, Wanda Brownfield and Pauline Walker. She is survived by one son Harold Wayne Martin of Germany; three daughters Karen Moore of Russellville, Melissa Short of Sebree, Kentucky and Cheryl Barnes of Elkton; seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home and again on Monday from 11:00 until funeral service time at 1:00 at the New Life Pentecostal Church, 1090 Pond River Road, Elkton with Rev. Jimmy Dukes officiating. Interment will follow at the Stokes Chapel Church Cemetery.
