Helen Marie Rakosi Mongold, 69, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday evening, May 16, 2019. at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born October 11, 1949 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Junior and Thelma Dayton Rakosi.

Survivors include her two daughters, Tracey Miker and her husband Roger Miker, II, and Rhonda Allemann all of Morgantown; four grandchildren; one brother, Otis Rakosi and his wife Charlotte of Granville; two sisters, Linda Rowe and her husband Stanley, and Sarah Anderson all of Granville; as well as her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, playing 500 Rummy, and spending time with her grandchildren. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.

A graveside committal service will be held for family and friends at the Bethel Cemetery, Bethel Church Rd. , in Maidsville on Monday, May 20th at 1 PM. Professional services are being provided to the family under the guidance of Smith Funeral & Cremation Care of Westover / Morgantown.
