Obituary for Helen Mary Maxwell Cohoes, NY Helen Mary Maxwell, entered into eternal life December 25, 2018. She passed of natural causes, at peace, in her home. Born in Cohoes in 1926, she was the daughter of Stanely E. and Antonina Walenga Mnich.

She enjoyed book keeping and worked at Timpane’s Jewelers and various other businesses in that capacity. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Jack, whom she met in high school.

She is survived by her loving children Christine Maxwell, Jay (Maria) Maxwell, Susan (Keith) Eagle, and Michael Maxwell; grandchildren Melissa (Michael) Woods, Nicole (Sal) Prizio, Erik (Christine) Lagace, Danielle (Scott) Milliken and Alicia (Mark) Oresz: and great grandchildren Tobias, Julian and Elliott Prizio, Alina & Emeryk Lagace, Ainsley & Tobin Woods and Colton & Carl Milliken. She was the sister of William Mnich and the late Joseph and Stanley Mnich. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Friday December 28, 2018 from St. Michael’s Church, Page Avenue Cohoes. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at St. Michael’s between the hours of 1pm and 2:30pm. A celebration mass will be held starting at 2:30pm followed by burial at St. Michael’s cemetery in Waterford.
