Obituary for Helen Prescott Mrs. Helen Waldrop Kidd Prescott, age 93, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle, GA. Mrs. Prescott is survived by her husband, William O�Neal Prescott; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna Kidd Yancey & Jerry Yancey; two grandsons and their wives, Bryan (Stephanie) Yancey & Jason (Samantha) Yancey; four great-grandchildren (Emma, Adam, Nora & Jewels Yancey); sister-in-law, Brenda Waldrop; nephew, Michael (Sarah) Waldrop; nieces, Katarina Waldrop & Caroline (Peter) Zavislak. Mrs. Prescott was preceded in death by her first husband, Elwin Kidd, in 1993 and her son, Danny Kidd, in 2010.

A life-long resident of Rockdale County, Georgia, she retired from the City of Conyers Water Department with 29 years of service in 1993. She was a faithful member of Almon Baptist Church for 60+ years. After losing their spouses, Helen and Bill attended and became re-acquainted at a Conyers High School Graduating Class of 1944 Reunion – where their love story began.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, October 22, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens; family will receive friends Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation be made to Almon Baptist Church or to a Charity of your choice. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.
