Obituary of Henry Locker Henry R. Locker, 89, of Woodland Park, passed away peacefully in his home on February 7, 2019. Henry was born in West Paterson on June 23, 1929 to the late Henry and Gladys (Hanson) Locker. He proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Army from 1953 to 1960 during the Korean War.

Later, he worked as a roofer, most recently at Sloan Roofing in Paterson. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #238 in Woodland Park where he served as a former Commander. Henry was predeceased by his beloved wife Matilda (Tullo) Locker in 2002.

He was the cherished father of Denise G. Susino and her husband Joseph, Cindy A. Bangaree and her husband Edward and Henry “Hank” G. Locker, Jr He was the treasured grandfather of Melissa Nussbaum and her husband Ian, Meghan, Brittany, Alexis and Rebecca Susino, Jessica and Edward Bangaree, Jr. and Madison and Sofia Locker. He was the dear brother of Renee Drol and her late husband Andy and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12th from 4:00-8:00pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave. , Woodland Park. A funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, February 13th at 10:15am at St. Bonaventure Church, 174 Ramsey St., Paterson.

Guests may arrive at Santangelo Funeral Home at 9:15am. Internment with follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project: www.
