Herbert “Bear” Martin Sr. of Beltsville born on August 18th, 1940 Devoted husband, loving father, grand-father and great grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend to many, passed away surrounded by his family is survived by his two sons, Marty Martin and Heath Martin (Cathy Martin); four step children, Linda Halbritter, Terry Getty, Billy Halbritter & David Halbritter; his sister, Diane Galliet; three grandchildren, Heather Martin, Nick Martin, and Peyton Martin and one great grandson, Thomas John. Bear had a great love for baseball, crabs, oysters, his cat “Buddy” and playing poker.
