Hilda Jean Bell November 08, 1927 – January 22, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Hilda Jean (Kelley) Bell, 91, of Pattison, Texas passed away on January 22, 2019 in Katy, Texas. Hilda was born on November 8, 1927, in White Oak, Texas, the daughter of William and Lillie (Nichols) Kelley. She grew up in the White Oak area, graduating from White Oak High School.

Hilda was united in marriage to S.C. Bell on October 4, 1943, in Brooksville, Florida. She was employed as an assistant manager for the Tri County Teachers Credit Union for many years. Hilda was engaged in her community as a member of many organizations including the Order of the Eastern Star and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She was also an avid reader and enjoyed learning more about history and genealogy. Hilda is survived by her son: Truett and wife, Lynn Bell of Pattison; daughter: Lillie Beth Ruby of Pattison; grandchildren: Michael Truett Bell, Leslee Lynn and husband, Jason Koch, Joshua Aaron and wife, Molly Ruby, and Jennifer Ruby; and great-grandchildren: Audrey Lynn Koch, Madeline Ruby, Caroline Ruby, and Lachland Hacking. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, S.C. Bell, 2 brothers, and sister, Twylah Northam.
