Obituary for Hilda Jean Phillips Hilda Jean Phillips, a loving mother, wife and Nana passed away on June 13, 2018, at the age of 83. She was born September 3, 1934, in the community of Webster, outside of Winnsboro, TX, to Harold and Clarine Blundell. At 18 years old she moved to Dallas, TX, where she met and married Charles Phillips in 1952.

Hilda and Charles lived in Dallas for 48 years before moving to Rockwall in 1999. Hilda enjoyed being active in the lives of her children, Kathy and Jeff, and always welcomed their friends into her home. Hilda was later very involved in the lives of her grandchildren, Leighann and Michael.

Throughout her life, Hilda loved spending time with her family, who were always the nearest thing to her heart. Hilda is survived by her daughter: Kathy Noel and husband Keith; grandchildren: Leighann Buck and husband Max, and Michael Noel; great grandson: Rhett Buck; sister: Joyzelle Davis and husband Ray “Pee Wee;” and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and a host of loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Charles Phillips; and son: Jeff Phillips.

Graveside services will be held 11:30am Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Following graveside services, Hilda’s family would like family and close friends to join them in a celebration of her life at her home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Hilda’s name to the Scoliosis Research Society at www.
