Hobert’s Obituary Hobert M. Scott, age 91 passed away on March 20, 2019 at his Hanceville residence. He was born on August 14, 1927 to Gordon and Beulah (Giles) Scott. Hobert was involved in construction work all of his adult life.

Hobert is survived by his wife of thirty eight years, Gearldean (Boren) Scott. Also two sons, Jerry (Pat) Scott and Keith (Phyllis) Scott. Daughters Wanda (David) Couts and Pam (Walter) Acosta.

Hobert was survived by stepchildren; Jana Shelton, Steve (Kelly) Casey and Richard (Gina) Casey and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Also a brother Hubert L. Scott and many nieces, nephews and many friends. Hobert was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jim and daughter-in-law Sandra Scott, stepson Joey Casey and brother Edward Scott.

Visitation will be Thursday March 21, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hanceville Funeral Home. Services are Friday March 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial at the adjoining Cemetery.
