Obituary for Hollis Jo Cornelius Hollis Jo Cornelius, age 92, of Guntersville, passed away at the Albertville Nursing Home on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. She is survived by 1st cousin, Louise Chandler; 2nd cousins, Sam Chandler and David Lent Chandler; 3rd cousin, David Banning Chandler & family and several other cousins and distant relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, General Mae and Elnora Inez Cornelius; and sister, Roselle Cornelius.

Ms. Cornelius worked many years for the City of Guntersville. She enjoyed spending time with her mother and sister. Her passion in life was music, particularly playing the piano.

She was a lifetime member of the Guntersville First Baptist Church and was a member of the church choir. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests make a donation to any charity in memory of Hollis Jo Cornelius. Bro.
