Holly Wolf Kennedy, born Holly Geer, of Oakville Road, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT, at the age of 68. She was born January 2, 1950, in Norwich to Barbara J (Bitgood) Geer of Griswold and the late H. David Geer. She attended Griswold Public Schools and Eastern Connecticut State University.

Holly spent most of her working career as a graphic artist and color separator. She was most recently employed at York Wallcovering as Operations Manager. She married Paul Kennedy March 30, 2006.

Holly was known for her artistry, kindness, generosity and gentle spirit. She loved fast paced trips to Manhattan, as well as quiet moments in her garden. She loved to dance and nothing matched her free spirit more than her belly dancing sessions.

She cared tirelessly for all living things and would provide help to anyone who might need it. Holly’s unwavering strength and empathy will forever be remembered by all who knew her. Besides her husband, Paul, and mother, Barbara Geer, Holly is survived by her three children, Mandy (Goodenough) Peterson and her husband Steve, John Jennings Goodenough and Brittany (Wolf) Langlois.

She is also survived by three siblings, Tom Geer, Richard Geer and his wife Carol, and Charlotte Geer, as well as three grandchildren, Harrison Bernard, Izaias Sardo and Matthew Goodenough. She was predeceased by her father, H. David Geer, and her grandson, Justin Bernard. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Gagne Piechowski Funeral Home, 490 Voluntown Rd, Jewett City.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 6:30 PM located at The Overlook at Geer Tree Farm, 141 Norman Rd, Griswold.
