Obituary for Honorato Marquilencia Honorato Marquilencia, 89, of Belleville, IL, born January 11, 1930 in Iloilo, Philippines, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Honorato was employed as a postal carrier in the Philippines before immigrating to the United States in 2002. He proudly became a United States citizen in 2008.

Honorato enjoyed feeding and watching birds in his front and back yards, even doing so in the winter. He is very loved and will be sorely missed by his family. Honorato was preceded in death by his parents, Laudencio and Soledad Marquilencia, nee Sugide, and son, Rex Marquilencia.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma Marquilencia, nee Sustento; children, Alfredo Marquilencia, Nelia (Eduardo Navales) Silveo, nee Marquilencia, Efren (Maryluz) Marquilencia and Neil (Sheila) Marquilencia. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www. schildknechtfh.com.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 South Lincoln Ave. , O’Fallon, IL 62269. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Father Jim Deiters officiating.
