Prairie du Chien, WI Howard A. Hauboldt age 80 of Prairie du Chien and formerly of Milwaukee passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 23, 2018 at his home. He was born January 11, 1938 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Herman and Helen (Guzda) Hauboldt. He served in the US Navy following the Korean Conflict.

Howard became a law enforcement officer for the City of Brookfield, WI in 1961 where he served until his retirement in 1997. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish. He enjoyed corvettes, raising horses, and was an avid boater and motorcyclist.

He was a member of the Wisconsin Professional Policeman’s Assn. and the National Rifle Assn. He is survived by his son Robert Hauboldt of Racine, WI, his daughter Leigh Ann (Lee) Wienstien of Blue Bell, PA, his brother Robert (Holly) Hauboldt of Brookfield, and his granddaughter Samantha.

According to Howard’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family. www.
