Obituary for Hoyt “H.V.” Haygood Hoyt “H. V.” Haygood, age 84, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center South. His funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at Etowah Memorial Chapel.

Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Wayne White will officiate.

Casket bearers will be Ronnie Van Alphen, Benny Hunt, Harold Hunt, Jake Haygood, Jordan James and Logan Hillbrant. Honorary casket bearers will be Jacob Hillbrant and Cole Haygood. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.

He is survived by his daughter, Janet Haygood James (David), son, Danny Haygood (Nikki), grandchildren, David Howard James, Jr., Jordan L. James, Jake H. Haygood, Logan and Jacob Hillbrant, Cole Haygood and Samantha Payne, great-grandchildren, Natalie Mae James, David H. James, III “Trip”, Liliana Pearl James, Caden Hoyt Haygood and Carmen Payne, a host of nieces and nephews.
