OBITUARY Huey Chen 陳何慧愉 September 7, 1931 – October 9, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Huey Yu Ho Chen was born in Linson County, Fujan Province, Republic of China to father Tien Yu Ho, a navy captain and mother Yong Cheu Shi Ho, a school teacher. Huey yu was an intelligent and studious child. She moved to Taiwan with her parents and siblings after the war.

During her study at the Taipei First Girls Senior High School, she enjoying making lifelong friends and receiving great teaching from many learned teachers. She entered government service after graduation. Her employment included Kaohsiung Port Authority and the Highway Administration Bureau.

After retirement, she moved to the States to be with her daughter in Texas. Huey Yu was one of six brothers and sisters. An older brother in Dallas, another older brother passed away in Beijing in 2015, an older sister in Shanghai, younger sister in Dallas and younger brother in Taipei City.

She was married to Tien Shen Chen (deceased) an engineer in Kaohsiung and had a daughter Shirley Hsiao-You Chen. She was also survived by son in law Gary Gloyna, and grandson Christopher Poyin Gloyna, sisters in law, brother in law, many nieces and nephews and grand niece and nephew.
