Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. William Hugh Guthrie, age 80 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Monday, May 13, 2019. Mr. Guthrie, was born in Decatur, Georgia, was a retired Auto Mechanic and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Guthrie is preceded by his wife, Alice Woodall Guthrie.

Survivors include two sisters in laws, Bobbie Dorsey of Jefferson and Mary Ann Turner of Nicholson. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Evans Memory Gardens with Pastor Russell Harbin officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside.
