Obituary for Imogene Mullins Goad Imogene “Jean” Mullins Goad, 82 of Sallys Ridge Road, Henry, Virginia, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at home. She was born February 17, 1936, in Erwin, North Carolina, to the late James and Mary Sloan Howard. She was retired from Bassett Furniture Industries and was a member of the Victory Christian Center in Collinsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rodney W. Mullins, and two brothers, Edward Fowler and Curtis Howard. Mrs. Goad is survived by her husband, Jerry Morgan, of Henry; a daughter, Regina Beeghly (Earl) of Henry; two sons, Charles “Dickie” Ferrell of Rocky Mount and Jimmy Mullins (Michelle) of Bassett; one step-son, Ronnie Mullins of Henry; four sisters, Barbara Fore (Bill), of Fuquay Varinia, NC, Janet Howard, Angier, NC, Sandra Benson (Johnny) of Benson, NC, and Kay Kearney (Alan) of Garner, NC; two brothers, Tony Howard (Bonnie) and Stevie Howard, both of Angier, NC; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday, December 3, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor LouAnn Moore and Pastor Janet McGhee officiating.

Visitation will be at noon, one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at the Mullins Family Cemetery in Henry. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the Goad family.
