Ms. Ina “Bernice” Minton Chatham, 72, of Boomer, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Bernice was born on April 9, 1946 in Wilkes County to Tom Roby Minton and Sara Viola Teague Minton. Bernice is survived by her son, Denver Anderson of Wilkesboro; daughter, Gail Williams and husband, Allen of North Wilkesboro; brothers, Junior Minton of Moravian Falls, Edward Minton of Ferguson; sister, Clara Laws and husband, Doug of Lenoir; grandson, Andrew Williams of North Wilkesboro and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes Chapel at 2109 Moravian Falls Road. Rev. Roger Jennings will be officiating.

Burial will follow the funeral at Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Ferguson. In addition to flowers, memorial donations may be given to SECU Hospice of Yadkinville, 243 North Lee Avenue Yadkinville, NC 27055 or a hospice of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be sent to: www.
