Obituary for Inez Romero Gomez Print Inez Romero Gomez, 90, of Fontana, died peacefully at home on February 21, 2019. She was born in San Bernardino, California on July 31, 1928 and lived in San Bernardino County her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Florence Marin and Enrique Romero.

She married the late Herbert D. Gomez on August 9, 1952 and they were wed for 65 years. Inez was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family. She loved sewing, bowling, taking road trips with her family and watching novelas.

She was loved by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her children, Ruth Brown of Yucaipa, Herbert Gomez Jr. of Riverside, Rosemary Hixson of Victorville, Roberta Gomez of Colton, Robert Gomez of Fontana, and Rebecca Gomez of Fontana. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Lupe Alvarez of Tucson, AZ and a brother, Dario Romero of Bloomington.
