Obituary for Irene Albertine Jurgeluks Age 88 of Cottontown, TN passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at Hendersonville Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1930 in Kaiserslautern, Germany to Herman and Johanna Johnson Amis Heim. She worked as a seamstress and was known to everyone in White House as “their seamstress”.

She was of the Lutheran faith and had attended Memorial Lutheran Church in East Nashville when she was able. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Horst Jurgeluks; sister, Erna Neumann; brother-in-laws, Bernd Neumann and Fritz Hausser. She is survived by her sons, Emil Jurgeluks, Nashville, TN and Earl Timothy (Pam) Jurgeluks, Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Trudy (Billy) Jackson, White House, TN; brother, Herman Heim, Germany; sister Hedi Hausser, Germany; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 1pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Tuesday, December 4, 2018 4-8pm and Wednesday, December 5, 2018 12-1pm at the funeral home.
