Irene “Renie” C. Kemp (nee Dieter) Born April 21, 1922, Died 5/30/2018 at 96 years old. Married James L. Kemp, Sr. January 11, 1948, who Died 10/16/81. Renie was born into a farming family and always loved growing vegetables and fruits and canning and freezing them.

She loved her flowers and was an expert and could grow just about anything, anywhere, even in the sand in Ocean Pines while at Rose’s house. She bowled into her 80’s and carried a 100+ average in duckpins. She, along with most of her siblings and some of her children enjoyed pinochle, poker, Rummicube and Bingo.

She also enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right and Family Feud, even though in the later years she could not hear very well, she still enjoyed watching the wheel spin and people clapping. She is the last survivor of the 8 children of Jacob and Anna Dieter (Kraft) of Fullerton, MD. Beloved Mother of: Daughter Rose Kemp, Ocean Pines, Md.

Viewing at the Rosedale Funeral Home of Philip E. Cvach, 1211 Chesaco Avenue, Rosedale, MD on Monday, June 4 from 3 pm to 5 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm. Visitation beginning at 9:30 am at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 5 followed by prayer service at 10:15 followed by burial at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association.
