Mrs. Irene Elizabeth (Sprague) Miller, 85 of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Mickey Miller and a son, Herbie Miller. Left to cherish her memory is a son, Donald Miller and wife, Bonnie of Fayetteville; a sister, Carol Kroslow of Pawleys Island, S.C.; two nieces, Sue Kittle of Raeford and Michele Giarratano and husband, Andy of Pawleys Island, S.C.; and a nephew, Keith Kroslow and wife, Barbara of Long Island, N.Y. Irene enjoyed sitting with her dogs, going to the beach and listening to the old gospel hymns.

She was loved and will be missed greatly. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Thursday, June 14, 2016 at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Norwood Tadlock officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12:30 pm Thursday, June 14, 2014 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Eastern North Carolina 5171 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27612 or the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, Inc. PO Box 58195 Fayetteville, NC 28305.
