Age 90, of McKees Rocks, passed away November 12, 2018. Mother of Michael (Wendy), Jeffrey (Lorraine) and David (Rebecca) and the late Richard (surviving, Kathleen) Panizzi; grandmother of Tawnya, Tiffany (James), Michael (Lindsay), David and Maggie (Fiancé, Kevin); great-grandmother of Riley, Cylas, Corinne and Brycen. Survived by her sisters, Katherine Thomas and Betty Bencho.

Irene was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in McKees Rocks and served as a Corporal in the Air Force. Family and friends will be received FRIDAY 1-3 and 5-8 PM at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 1225 Chartiers Avenue, McKees Rocks, where prayers of transfer will be offered at 9:00 AM SATURDAY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Parish, St. Mary’s Church at 9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a veteran’s organization of choice.
