Obituary for Irene M. Lafferty Irene M. Lafferty (nee Lyons), “Rene”, passed away suddenly on November 15, 2018 at her residence. She is the beloved daughter of Irene Simmons and the late Roger (Patricia) Lyons and granddaughter of the late Ivan and Pauline (nee Bland) Lyons. Dear wife of the late Timothy Lafferty, Sr. Beloved mother of Melissa (Jason Avallone) Welsh, Renee (Jason Hurff) Welsh, Robert Welsh, Timothy Lafferty Jr, Cassandra (Jake Trill) Lafferty and Brian Lafferty.

Grand mom Rene of Addison, Cole and Drew Hurff. Sister of Kenny Lyons, Allison Rochuba, Patricia Spatz, Tracy Gates and Richard (Lisa) Lyons. She will also be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, especially Kathy Zurzoll, Bob (Maureen) Welsh and Theresa Pagel Lowry.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Monday, November 26, 2018 beginning, 11:30am at Ruffenach Funeral Home, 4900 Township Line Rd. Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Funeral Home Religious Services, 1:30pm.

Burial Arlington Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Rd. Media, PA 19063.
