Irene Lois Olenik, 94, of Locust Grove, VA, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. She was born on March 19, 1924 in Uniontown, PA to Charles F. and Helen G. Long. Proceeded in death by her husband of 51 years, John D. Olenik, her parents and two sisters, Abbie Loretta Snedeker and Helen C Long.

Survived by six children, Mark C. Billings; Nestella I. Vannoy; John D. Olenik, Jr.; Charles J. Olenik; James P Olenik; and Anna C. Hill and nine grandchildren, Kristen Billings; Jonathan Billings; Taylor Olenik; Joseph Olenik; Casey Olenik; Caroline Olenik; Nathan Olenik; Josh Olenik; and Griffin Hill. After moving from Uniontown to Washington, D.C. she met and married her husband John at the Pentagon. After x years in Northern Virginia, they retired in Locust Grove, VA at the Lake of the Woods where they enjoyed 25 years of retirement bliss.
