Irene Van Gunst October 17, 1944 – May 6, 2019 Van Gunst, Irene K., 74 on Monday, May 6, 2019 Born in Hoboken, she moved to Maywood in 1971. She had been a secretary for Mutual of New York. She worked as a lunch aide at Maywood Avenue School and later at Eastbrook School in Paramus.

Irene loved all animals, her garden and Barry Manilow. Beloved wife of over 53 years to Peter. Devoted mother of Peter C., Edward A. and his wife, Rayna and Julanne Nikanorov and her husband, George.

Cherished grandmother of Kaitlyn Van Gunst, Alayna Nikanorov and Savannah Nikanorov. FUNERAL IS PRIVATE. Burial George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
