Webster/Worcester – Iris N. “Nery” Hames Santiago, 55, of Webster, formerly of Worcester passed away peacefully on Sunday November 4, 2018 surrounded by her family; She is survived by her three daughters: Arlene Perez, Gricel Perez, and Jasmine Rivera; three sons: Jose R. Perez, Antonio Casteleiro Jr, and Alexander Rivera; her mother: Irene Rodriguez; four sisters: Carmen Ortiz, Carmen Santiago, Maribel Santiago, and Zoraida Rodriguez; four brothers: Jose A. Ortiz, Luis Ortiz, Jose Ortiz, and Angelo Santiago; twelve grandchildren whom she loved dearly; She was predeceased by her brother Wilfredo Ortiz. Iris was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend; She loved spending time with her family; She was always taking us on an adventure and capturing the moment with her “photography skills”; Her love for animals was like no other. Iris was the most selfless person you’d ever meet, humble above all else.

My sweet mother, we will miss you deeply. Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 from 9:00 – 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA; Committal will follow in Hope Cemetery.
