Iris’ Obituary Iris Warnock Davis, 85, of Jesup, died Sunday, May 5, 2019, at her residence and under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. The Lyons, Georgia native lived in Wayne County all of her adult life, was a member of Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church, and a homemaker. She always enjoyed working in the yards and the garden with her predeceased husband of 64 years, James H. “Jimmy” Davis.

Survivors are her daughters, Janet Goff (Michael Rush) and Dianne (Butch) Cole of Jesup; grandchild, Jason (Brittany) Cole of Jesup; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Davis and Judy (Jerry) Long of Jesup; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Ray Worley officiating. Interment will be in Jesup City Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be family. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial Donations may be made to Cornerstone Pentecostal Church, P O Box 441, Jesup, GA 31598.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
