The relatives and friends of Mrs. Isabelle Smalls Ward are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, June 1, 2018 11:00 AM at St. James AME Chapel, 1550 Mulberry St., Charleston, SC 29407. Interment: St. James AME Church Cemetery, Johns Island, SC.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her grandchildren: Mrs. Dashana Doctor (Dwight), Mr. Terrance Ward (Carlotta), Mrs. Patrice Simmons (David), Mrs. Mona-Lisa Howard (Brian), and Mrs. Verna S. Lockhart; great-grands: DeMario Doctor and Dominic Doctor; sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Andrew Ward, and son Mr. Thomas Ward (the late Marthenia). Viewing for Mrs. Ward will be on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the church from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
