Obituary for Isaiah (Saiah) Jacob Sanchez Isaiah (Saiah) Jacob Sanchez February 24, 1998 – June 26, 2018 Isaiah (Saiah) Jacob Sanchez was born February 24, 1998, in Bakersfield, California, to Eli I and Angela Sanchez. He is survived by his sister, Eliyah; his brothers, Dominic, Eli II (Monica), Chris (Britnie); niece, Khloe; nephew, Blake; and numerous special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandma, Carlinda Nichols Thomas.

He was always so selfless and kind, and never met a stranger he didn’t like. Isaiah was always looking to help those in need, even if it meant giving up things that were precious to him. He once gave up his favorite (Lakers) blanket, which his mother made for him as a child, to a boy on the street because he felt the boy needed it more than he did.

He befriended anyone, especially those who were alone, as he did in grammar school to a boy that was shunned because of his disabilities and played by himself. Anyone who was lucky enough to have him in their life was blessed. His laugh was contagious and heartwarming, and Isaiah will be deeply missed.

Son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend – we all love you so much. We hope you are dancing in the sky and singing with the angels’ choir. The family will have a Celebration of Life Mass on Friday, July 6, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 12300 Reina Road, Bakersfield.
