J. MALCOLM MOORE of Westampton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29th, 2019. He was 91. Born in Bath, ME, he is the son of the late Wilson & Lily Moore and has resided in Westampton for the past 5 years moving there from Punta Gorda, FL.

He was a Supply Officer with the US Navy for 26 years serving in Bath as well as Washington, DC, Norfolk, VA and Phila. , PA. He had also worked for Bath Iron Works for 12 years in Bath, ME.

He was a member of Gideon’s International and served on the Maine State Cabinet for 12 years. He was a volunteer for the Bath Police Dept. for 10 years and a lifelong volunteer in the many churches that he attended.

He loved lobstering in Maine and enjoyed his participation in the Barber Shop Chorus. He is the Beloved Husband of Iris L. (nee Armstrong) Moore of Westampton, NJ and the Loving Father of John M. Moore Jr. and his wife Linda of Beaverton, OR and Debra L. Goldman of Westampton, NJ. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jason Moore, Melissa Moore, Tammy Johnson, Jeffrey Wright Jr., Summer Grant, Justin Wright and Jonathan Wright and his 21 Great Grandchildren.

He is the brother of the late Dr. Charles W. Moore. Relatives and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life on Friday, May 10th at 7:00 PM in the Chapel at Fellowship Alliance Chapel, 199 Church Road, Medford, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath, ME.
