OBITUARY J Rafael Villa May 14, 1934 – September 30, 2018 J. Rafael Villa, age 84, passed away September 30, 2018 in Kearns, Utah. Rafael was born May 14, 1934 in La Yerbabuena, Michoacan, Mexico to Juan Villa Cortes and Asencion Gutierrez Rangel. Rafael loved many activities with his family.

He loved staying up on Friday nights to watch boxing, he loved his horses, and he also kept a vegetable garden. He enjoyed staying in touch with his families in the United States and Mexico. One of his favorite things to say was, “Cuando tu vas yo ya fui y vine y voy de vuelta”.

Surviving relatives include his wife Placida Margarita Cortez, his daughter Maria Elena Villa, three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
