Obituary for Jack E Meyers Meyers, Jack E. “Sonny” January 3, 2019, age 96 years, of Fox Point. Beloved husband of Barbara Meyers (nee Grabin). Dear father of Louise (Jim) Doornek, Polly Clark, Tom (Pam) Meyers and Richard (Wilma Wallace) Meyers.

Fond brother of Lenore Clark and the late Harriet Pulley. Further survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Jack served as a Naval Commander on the Battleship USS Missouri in World War II.

He was present at the signing of the peace with Japan on September 2, 1945. Funeral services 1:30 PM Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun, 2020 W. Brown Deer Rd. , River Hills.

Interment Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 S. Hawley Ct. , Milwaukee. Memorial gifts to Evans Scholars Foundation, 1 Briar Rd.
