In Loving Memory Jack Ingvald Bruhjell August 17, 1929 – December 3, 2018 Jack Ingvald Bruhjell, 89, passed away December 3, 2018 at Providence St Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla. A Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 11am at the Milton-Freewater Cemetery. Jack was born to Peter Ingvald Bruhjell and Eleanor (Sharp) Bruhjell in Minot, North Dakota on August 17, 1929.

Jack served in the Army during WWII, when he was 19 Jack earned his wings with the 187th Glider Infantry regiment, 11th Airborne Division in Sapporo, Japan. Jack loved sports especially the Oakland Raiders. He enjoyed his time at Kellys restaurant in Milton-Freewater, and he also enjoyed gardening.

Jack and Ruth loved animals and you could find them feeding and helping stray ones in the neighborhood. Jack was a member of the VFW and the Roofer’s Union. He is survived by his sisters, Joyce Hunter, Bernice Daugs, a brother, Robert Bruhjell and numerous nieces and nephews.
