Jack James Walker, 87, widower of Bertha Walker, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Heritage Hall Healthcare Center. He was born in North Wilkesboro, NC to the late Grover Cleveland and Ona Lee Hood Walker. Mr. Walker was a member at Alton Baptist Church; United States Army Veteran that served during the Korean War; and retired from General Cable where he worked as a shift superintendent.

Jack is survived by five children, Dennis Ray Walker, FL, Gary Wayne Walker, FL, Jack Dwayne (Amy) Walker, Patricia Ann Estes and Lisa Marie (Jason) Perry, all of Lawrenceburg; two brothers, Buddy (Judy) Walker, NC and Tom Walker, CA; 8 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, Presley Rayne Walker. Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by five sisters. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro.

Jerry Perry and Bro. Gary Ellcessor officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday. Casket bearers will be Shawn Walker, James Gulley, Matthew Perry, Timothy Perry, Jason Perry and Bill Slone. Honorary bearers will be the Sunday School Class at Alton Baptist.
