OBITUARY Jack Lara September 10, 1977 – July 25, 2018 Jack Lara, 40, of Seguin, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Jacob Lara, Sr. and Mary Jane Agan in San Antonio, Texas on September 10, 1977. Jack had an infectious smile that captivated everyone who knew him.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, going fishing, riding with his wife Kwin and his children, and with his Motorcycle Ministry. He loved to build, and would always say, “I am following in Jesus’s footsteps as a lonely carpenter”. He had a passion for spreading the gospel of God to whomever approached him.

His goal was to save as many souls as he could for Christ. He is survived by his loving wife, Kwin Lara of Seguin, TX, sons David Lara of Heartland, TX and Juaquin Lara of Sequin, TX and daughter Lluvia Lara of Seguin, TX; mother, Mary Jane Agan and husband William of Glenwood IA; father, Jacob Lara, Sr. and wife Liz of Seguin, TX; maternal grandmother, Mary Helen Cisneros and husband Gilbert of San Antonio, TX; sisters Sarah Evans and husband Eric of Glenwood, IA, Helen Marie Agan of Omaha, NE; mother-in-law, Debra Baker-Obershaw and husband Manuel of Schuyler, NE; father-in-law, Kevin Baker of Lincoln, NE; brother-in-law, Nick Baker of Fremont, NE; aunt Rosie Chetwood and husband Joe of San Antonio, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters in Christ from Three Angels Messengers Motorcycle Association. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Lance Cpl.

Brandon Lara. Public Visitation will begin 9:00 AM Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 11:00 AM when the service departs in procession to the Church. A Celebration of Life will then begin at 12:00 PM at the San Antonio Breath of Life SDA Church; 4123 E. Houston St, San Antonio, Texas 78220 with Pastor William “Brotherman” Hunt and Pastor Michael B. Kelly, II.
