Obituary for Jack R. Simpson Jack R. Simpson, 89, of Lecanto, FL. , passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Vitas Health Care Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Born April 22, 1929 in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Harvey Simpson and Harriet E. (Ridall) Clayborn.

Jack served proudly in the U.S. Army and was an Honorable Veteran of WWII Korean War. Survivors include his daughters, Deborah E. (Scott) Ecker, Melanie J. Johnson, Karen H. (Creg) Edwards and Jackie L. (Paul) Stevio; his sister, Joanne Hayes; his grandchildren, Shawn Malt, Dinna Matty, Johna Resnik, Ryan Conley, Patrick Conley, Ronnie Sharps Jr., Amy Barren and Daniel Sharps; as well as his 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 North US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 on Monday, November 15, 2018 at 12pm.

Visitation 11am-12pm. Entombment will follow after the funeral service with full Military Honors at Sunset Memory Gardens at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be make in Jack’s memory to the Vitas Health Care Hospice House, 3350 West Audubon Park Path, Lecanto, FL.
