OBITUARY Jackie Clyde Wacaster November 14, 1932 – July 12, 2018 On July 12, 2018, Jackie C. Wacaster, Sr. died in the early morning hours. He was born November 14, 1932 to Clyde and Inez Wacaster in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was a Navy veteran who served on the aircraft carrier, Intrepid, as an aviation ordinance man.

He had many sea stories about his Navy service. While attending a service school in Oklahoma City, he met the great love of his life, Jewel Mullen, whom he married after a whirlwind courtship. Jewel and Jack married on July 12, 1952.

They were married for 60 years until Jewel passed away in 2012. They had three children: Jackie Clyde, Cheryl Denise and Scott Edward. He was a sign painter until he retired.

He was a devout Baptist. He labored long and hard for his family and was an excellent father. He is survived by his three children: Jack Wacaster, Jr. (Karen), Cheryl Morris (Doyle) and Scott Wacaster; grandchildren Grant and Tayler Scott and great grandchildren Lakyn, Allison, Lane, Zachary and Jackson Scott.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday at Crestview Memorial Park.
