Jackie Dewayne Dixon, a resident of Wynnewood, OK, was born on July 6, 1955 in Wynnewood, OK to Margaret Thurston (Oliver) Dixon and Clifton Ray Dixon, Sr He passed away at his home in Wynnewood on May 6, 2019 at the age of 63 years and 10 months. Dewayne had spent most of his life in the Wynnewood area, graduating from Wynnewood in 1974 and attending 2 years at Mid – America VoTech.

He had worked as a welding and construction superintendant for Dixon Construction Company. Dewayne married Tonda LaDawn (Tomlinson) on March 20, 1981 in Wynnewood and they spent their lives together until she preceded him in death on Dec. 5, 2017.

In addition to his wife Tonda, Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Margaret Dixon. He is survived by his daughter and son in law – Jaki and Cody Travis; grandchildren – Braxton Ray and Maddex Dewayne Travis; brother – Skip and wife Gay Dixon; 3 sisters – Brenda and husband Richard Hamilton; Diedra and husband Ward Wixon; Sharon Kimbro; 3 sisters and brothers in law – Chan and husband David Berry; Pat and husband Buddy Mulkey; JoAnn and husband Mike Jaggers; Brother in law – William C. Morris; Several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday May 10, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood officiated by David Johnson and assisted by Rev.

Jarrod Kendall with burial following at Oaklawn Cemetery of Wynnewood. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 PM at DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood. Services are under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood.
