OBITUARY Jackie “Jack” Dewane Farmer August 11, 1943 – January 5, 2019 Jackie “Jack” Dwane Farmer, age 75, born August 11, 1943 in Fort Worth Texas and passed away January 5, 2019 in Haltom City Texas. Jack graduated from Birdville High School class of 1961 and attended University of North Texas and Arlington State College. He lived in Justin, Burleson and most recently Haltom City.

He married his loving wife Pat April 4, 1964. He was a salesman for Mrs. Baird’s, Frito Lay and owned and operated SunFire Apparatus Euipment from 1977 until 1989. He was the top salesman for the FMC Corporation in the state of Texas.

He enjoyed golf and was an active member of the Mountain Valley Country Club. He has been an active member of the AHRA currently known as the NHRA since 1962. He enjoyed watching golf, football and drag racing on television.

Most of all he loved spending time with his family and enjoyed his grandchildren most of all. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pat Farmer; children, Kathy Lathen and her husband Darren and Dewane Farmer; grandchildren, Dana Lathen, Brittanie Farmer and Shane Farmer and his wife Alyson; brother, Ed Beene; aunt, Martha Ruth Tidwell; nephew, Jason Beene; cousins, Donna K. Boenker, Neil Schluter, Jimmy W. Walling, Dixie Fulton and Vickie Smith. Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Friday, January 11, 2019 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76148.

Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Luke Methodist Church, 3200 Denton Highway, Fort Worth, Texas 76117.
