Dear Family and Friends, As per her wishes, Jackie will be cremated. Tentative plans afterwards are for a small graveside service to be held at 1:00PM, this Friday, 2/22/19, at the Kellogg Cemetery, Douglas County where Emmett is interred. Following the service we will gather at the Apple Peddler Restaurant in Sutherlin for lunch (if they agree when we call them).

The family requests no flowers. There will be roses to share at the service. If you wish to do something in her memory, a small donation for art supplies is suggested to the Books Gallery, 220 W. Central Ave, Sutherlin, OR, 97479, 541-459-0235.

Jackie spent many years of Saturdays joyfully participating in their weekly painting classes. Married Emmett J Hyde in 1943. just before he joined the Marines and left for WWII.

Emmett passed away in Dec 1995. Lived in Elkton/Kellogg on the Umpqua River for 30+ years, and in Roseburg at Callahan Village and Cottages for the last 6+ years. The Kellogg Cemetery does not have a street address.

GPS coordinates are below. The nearest USPS addressable place is the Kellogg Grange #811 (address below). As we recall, the Grange is close to the entrance gate for the cemetery, but do not remember exactly how close.

Will provide additional info when we get it. We know it is a long way, not on the beaten path, and most will not be able to attend. Please don’t fret.
